A study in contrasts, James Byrom is a former United States Marine as well as a Certified Addictions Professional with more than 20,000 hours of experience in substance abuse counseling. He comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. He founded Mission Unity and built it into one of the most successful in-house substance abuse treatment centers in the SW Florida area with residential housing and outreach programs before retiring in 2011. An avid scuba Rescue Diver and biker, James plays and laughs as hard as he works.
